Six centers will participate, cluster-randomized by ratio 1:1 in control and intervention cluster. Additionally, the center in Dresden will serve as reference center and will belong to the intervention cluster, but will be excluded from statistical analysis due to methodological reasons. In total, 7 centers will participate in this study.

  • Universitätsklinikum Tübingen

Number of Patients

Up to 89 in total

N=78 (11 per center + 2 substitutes for drop-out per center)

N=11 for reference center Dresden (data will be excluded from statistical analysis of differences between the control and interventional group)

Primary Objectives

The primary objective will be to compare quality of life between STS-patients receiving a multidimensional intervention with those receiving standard treatment.
